1. Who we are
Snaap is a screenshot management app built by AI Innovators ("Snaap", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Snaap mobile application (the "App"). If you have any questions, email support@aiinnovators.pro.
2. Information stored on your device only
The following information is processed and stored locally on your iPhone. It is never transmitted to us:
- Your screenshots and the metadata Apple's Photos library exposes (capture date, file size, source app when available).
- Text recognized inside screenshots via Apple's on-device Vision framework (OCR).
- AI-generated categories, tags, brand recognition results, and duplicate-group fingerprints produced by Apple Core ML models running locally.
- Your in-app actions: which screenshots you kept or deleted, snooze preferences, reminder settings.
You can verify this at any time by putting your iPhone in airplane mode — the app's full feature set continues to work.
3. Information we may receive
Even though Snaap is on-device first, a few standard data flows exist:
- Anonymous usage analytics (opt-out). If the "Anonymous analytics" toggle in Settings is on, we collect aggregated, non-identifying event data such as session count, crash reports, and feature-tap counts. This data contains no screenshots, no recognized text, and no personal identifiers. You can disable it at any time in Settings → Privacy.
- Subscription & purchase data. Subscriptions to Snaap Pro are processed by Apple via the App Store. We receive only the transaction receipt that Apple gives us — never your payment details, card number, or full Apple ID. Apple's own privacy policy governs that data.
- Support emails. If you email support@aiinnovators.pro, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply.
4. Permissions we ask for
- Photos. Required so the app can read your screenshots. Snaap requests "Limited" or "Full" access — your choice. We never modify or delete a photo without an explicit tap from you.
- Notifications. Optional. Used for voucher-expiry reminders and Daily Brief alerts.
5. How we use information
We use the small amount of data described in Section 3 to:
- Detect and fix crashes and performance issues.
- Understand which features are valuable and which are confusing.
- Honor your subscription entitlements.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not use any data for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade information to third parties.
6. Sharing
We share information only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the App:
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, subscription processing, crash reporting (Apple App Analytics).
- Cloudflare — hosting of this website.
We disclose information when legally required (e.g. court order) and will notify you when permitted to do so.
7. Data retention
On-device data lives on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. Uninstalling the App removes everything. Anonymous analytics events are retained for up to 25 months in aggregate form. Support emails are retained for as long as needed to maintain a record of our conversation, typically up to 3 years.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Disable analytics (Settings → Privacy → Anonymous analytics).
- Revoke Photos access (iOS Settings → Snaap → Photos).
- Delete all locally-stored Snaap data (uninstall the App).
- Request a copy of any data tied to your email (write to support@aiinnovators.pro).
- Ask us to delete support correspondence.
Depending on where you live (e.g. EU, UK, California), you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
Snaap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
10. International transfers
Because Snaap is on-device, content stays in the country where your phone is. The limited operational data described above (analytics, support emails) may be processed by service providers in the United States, the European Union, or other countries where they operate.
11. Security
We rely on iOS's built-in protections (Secure Enclave, Data Protection at rest, Keychain) to safeguard locally-stored data. For data in transit between our service providers, we use TLS 1.2 or higher. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the attack surface minimal by collecting as little as possible.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of the App after the change means you accept the updated policy.
